About APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party in Nigeria, formed on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the 2015 elections.
Dr. Ijeomah Linus Arodiogbu is a Nigerian medical doctor, public health expert, and politician from Ndiadimoha, Arondizuogu, Imo State, currently serving as National Vice Chairman (South East) of the APC.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria (Enugu Campus, 1993) and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Leeds (2005). Professionally, he founded a consulting firm in Abuja working with federal agencies like TETFUND and UBEC, and has served as Special Adviser to the Minister of State for Education and consultant to the Governor of Yobe State.
In politics, Dr. Arodiogbu has led APC mobilization in the South East since 2022 and holds a board appointment as Chairman of the David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital (DUFUTH), Ebonyi State. He is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Arodiogbu, a former WHO representative, and they have two children. He is a devout Catholic.
