The All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party in Nigeria, formed on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the 2015 elections.
Hon. Dr. Dayo Abdullahi Israel is a Nigerian politician, diplomat, and international development expert. He currently serves as National Youth Leader of the APC, a position he has held since 2022, focusing on party mobilization and youth engagement. He also serves on the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina Board and the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, while representing Nigeria at global forums like the World Economic Forum 2026.
Born in Lagos and raised by a single mother, he began advocacy work at age 8 and founded Nigeria’s first child-led NGO at 12. He earned an LLB and MA in International Relations from London Metropolitan University and completed executive programs at Harvard, Cambridge, and Wharton.
Dr. Israel has received international recognition, including invitations from the Obama White House, honors from Queen Elizabeth II, and awards such as the MIPAD, British Red Cross Humanitarian Citizen Award, and Mayor of London’s Young PEWA Award.
