About Hon. Durosinmi Meseko

Hon. Durosinmi “Duro” Meseko is a Nigerian journalist, media entrepreneur, and politician from Kogi State, currently serving as Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC and Chairman of the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI). He is also the CEO of Dgovscoops Communications Ltd, which operates De-Gov FM radio station.

Born in March 1963, he holds a degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and received an honorary doctorate in Leadership and Governance in 2025.

Meseko began his journalism career in 1990 and worked with The Courier, TELL Magazine, and THISDAY Newspapers, gaining prominence for his pro-democracy activism. He later served as Manager of Public Affairs at Albarka Air before entering politics.

He represented Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives (2003–2007), joined the APC in 2015, and has since played key roles in party communication and digital reforms, including the 2026 e-registration drive.

He holds the traditional title Asiwaju of Imososi Kingdom and is known for his philanthropic support for health and education in Kogi West.
