About Muazu Bawa Rijau

Hon. Mu’azu Bawa Rijau is a Nigerian politician and technocrat serving as the APC National Vice Chairman (North-Central). He is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and began his career with the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

In Niger State, he served as Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue and as Commissioner for Finance and Works. He was elected APC National Vice Chairman in March 2022 and, in January 2025, was appointed Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Biosafety Management Agency.

Born into the family of Alhaji Bawa Rijau, he holds the traditional title of Sarkin Yakin Kontagora and plays a key role in coordinating APC activities in the North-Central zone.
