About APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party in Nigeria, formed on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the 2015 elections.
Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD, Esq. (Sa’i Adamawa) is a Nigerian politician and legal practitioner, currently serving as National Vice Chairman (North-East) of the APC. He is a leading contender for the 2027 governorship of Adamawa State.
Born with a strong academic background, he holds two Master’s degrees and a PhD in Global Development, with expertise in leadership, governance, and peacebuilding. Professionally, he has led PSJ, an organization focused on community peace and development.
In politics, Salihu has been active on the APC National Working Committee, promoting party unity and digital initiatives like electronic membership registration. He is also known for grassroots empowerment programs, creating small-business opportunities, and philanthropy, including a ₦50 million donation to the Huba Chiefdom in 2025.
He is distinct from Senator Saliu Mustapha of Kwara Central, with his political base and activities centered in Adamawa State.
