About Mohammed Sani Musa

Mohammed Sani Musa is a Nigerian politician, technocrat, and entrepreneur representing Niger East in the 10th National Assembly. Born on May 11, 1965, in Minna, Niger State, he studied Business Administration at Ahmadu Bello University and holds postgraduate qualifications from universities in the United Kingdom.

Before politics, he worked in the ICT and finance sectors and is noted for implementing Nigeria’s Permanent Voter Card system through his company, ACT Technologies. He also served as a special adviser to the Niger State Governor and held leadership roles in several private companies.

Elected to the Senate in 2019 under the APC, Musa is now serving his second term and chairs the Senate Committee on Finance. He has sponsored key legislative bills and played an active role in national budget and economic policy debates.

He received the national honor of Commander of the Order of the Niger in 2022 and holds the traditional title of Dan Durbin Minna. He is married with four children.
