Olugbenga Justus Daniel (born April 6, 1956), popularly known as OGD or Otunba Gbenga Daniel, is a Nigerian engineer and politician, currently serving as Senator for Ogun East and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Navy.
He was Governor of Ogun State (2003–2011) under the PDP, known for industrialization, establishing Tai Solarin University of Education, and initiating the Ogun State Agro-Cargo Airport. After joining the APC in 2021, he has sponsored bills on aviation, health, and regional development, including the South West Development Commission (SWDC) Bill, and has facilitated major federal and solar-powered infrastructure projects in Ogun East.
Daniel is married to Yeye Olufunke Daniel, holds the traditional title of Otunba, and is founder of Kresta Laurel Limited, Conference Hotels, the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), and the Political Leadership Academy. He publicly supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2027.
