About Ipinsagba Olajide


Olajide Emmanuel Ipinsagba (born February 2, 1964) is a Nigerian politician and businessman serving as Senator for Ondo North Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly. He hails from Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State, and holds an HND in Surveying, an MBA, an MPA, and a PhD in Business Administration.

Before entering politics, he built a successful career in the oil and gas and logistics sectors as founder and CEO of Manuex Co. Nig. Ltd., established in 1990. He is professionally affiliated with the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and is a life member and former National President (2002) of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria.

Elected to the Senate in 2023 under the APC, Ipinsagba chairs the Senate Committee on Public Procurement, also leading the Committee on Niger Delta and serving as Vice Chairman of the Petroleum Downstream Committee. He sponsored the ICT University, Ikare-Akoko bill, which passed its third reading in 2025, and has received strong constituency endorsements for his development initiatives. Widely known as Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, he is also active in philanthropy, education, and youth empowerment.
