Hon. Dr. Patrick Umoh is a Nigerian lawyer, academic, and politician born on April 9, 1982, in Akwa Ibom State. He represents the Ikot Ekpene/Essien Udim/Obot Akara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives during the 10th National Assembly under the APC.
He received his early education in Akwa Ibom, trained initially for the priesthood, and later earned law degrees (LLB, LLM, and PhD) from Nigerian universities. He was called to the Bar in 2010 and worked as a law lecturer and author before entering politics.
Elected in 2023, Umoh previously served in local government and legislative support roles. In the National Assembly, he chairs key committees on health institutions and legislative monitoring and is noted for his high legislative productivity. He is a member of the Knights of St. John International and received an honorary fellowship award in 2026 for public service.
