Benue State | House of representatives
Hon. Lady Blessing Onyeche Onuh (born June 30, 1976) is a Nigerian politician representing the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency of Benue State in the 10th National Assembly.
Born in Otukpo, she is the daughter of former Senate President David Mark. She attended St. Andrew’s Primary School and FGGC Gboko, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Abuja, and is pursuing a PhD in Gender Studies.
Before elective office, she served as a Special Assistant to ministers and as Secretary for the Social Development Secretariat in the FCT Administration. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2019 under APGA and served as Vice-Chair of the House Committee on the FCT. She later defected to the APC in 2021 and was re-elected in 2023.
In the 10th Assembly, she chairs the House Committee on Land Transportation. She is married to Dr. Innocent Onuh, has three children, and is an advocate for women’s and children’s rights through the Otukpo Children’s Foundation.
