Irom Etaba Michael is a Nigerian politician and a third-term Member of the House of Representatives, currently serving in the 10th National Assembly and representing the Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency of Cross River State.
Sources list his date of birth as either September 16, 1982, or February 13, 1983. He hails from Obubra Local Government Area and holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH). Before his federal office, he was active in local government politics as a political organizer and mobilizer within Cross River Central.
He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was first elected to the House in 2015, succeeding John Owan Enoh, and subsequently re-elected in 2019 and 2023. During his first term, he served as Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Pensions, and in the 10th National Assembly, he serves as Chairman of the Public Petitions Committee. He is known for advocating rural electrification, youth development, and road infrastructure in his constituency, and actively engages with community leaders and traditional institutions, providing support to local rulers in Obubra LGA.
