Ekiti State | House of representatives
Hon. Akintunde Rotimi Jr. (born April 17, 1981) is a Nigerian public policy professional and politician serving as the Spokesman of the 10th House of Representatives. He represents Ekiti North 1 (Ikole/Oye) Federal Constituency under the APC.
An indigene of Odo-Ayedun, Ikole LGA, Ekiti State, he is the son of late Chief Akintunde Rotimi Sr., a Second Republic parliamentarian, and Modupe Adeboun Rotimi, a retired federal education director.
He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Universities of Ibadan and Lagos, and an M.A. from the University of Westminster, UK. Professionally, he has worked as a strategic communications consultant and served in Ekiti State government. He is a founding partner of Eagle Badger and a member of the NIPR.
Elected in 2023, he chairs the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs and was appointed Chairman of Ekiti Para Athletics in 2025. He is married with three children.
