Hon. David Idris Zacharias is a Nigerian real estate entrepreneur and politician serving in the 10th House of Representatives. Born on December 27, 1972, he is from Ejule in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
He obtained his West African School Certificate from Community Secondary School, Ejule, and earned a B.Sc. in Sociology from the University of Abuja. He is also reported to hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has received professional training from the Reforming Leadership Institute in Abuja.
Zacharias represents the Idah/Ibaji/Igalamela-Odolu/Ofu Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC). First elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023, he is serving his second term in the National Assembly. He has chaired the House Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations and serves on key committees, including Appropriations, Ecological Fund, and Internally Displaced Persons.
Beyond politics, he is a leading real estate developer and CEO of Eden Multibiz Project Ltd. He also runs the David Zacharias Foundation, which provides humanitarian support, scholarships, and micro-grants to widows and youths in Kogi State. He is known for advocating peaceful resolution of boundary disputes within his constituency.
