Mamudu Abdullahi is a veteran Nigerian politician and member of the 10th National Assembly, representing the Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency of Niger State under the APC. Born on June 26, 1965, he holds a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
His political career spans several decades, beginning with his service in the House of Representatives during the aborted transition of 1987–1988. He returned to the House in 2019 and was re-elected in 2023. At the state level, he served as Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development (1999–2003) and Works and Infrastructure (2003–2006), and earlier as a Supervisory Councilor in Agaie Local Government (1988–1989).
Currently, he serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary and HYPADEC, and is a member of the Committees on Works, Water Resources, and Agricultural Colleges. Known as the Mutawali of Agaie, he focuses on grassroots development and poverty alleviation through empowerment programs, party support initiatives, and advocacy for feeder-road rehabilitation and irrigation projects in Agaie and Lapai.
