Niger State | House of representatives
Hon. Saleh Shehu Rijau (born February 5, 1959),is a Nigerian politician representing the Magama/Rijau Federal Constituency of Niger State in the House of Representatives. He is serving his third term under the APC.
He holds a Grade II Teacher’s Certificate from CAIL Minna (1986) and an HND in Extension & Management from the College of Agriculture, Zuru (2000). Before politics, he worked in agricultural development and public administration for Niger State and the FCTA.
Rijau was re-elected to the 10th Assembly in 2023 and serves as Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Engineering, focusing on rural development and scientific initiatives.
