About OSOBA OLUMIDE BABATUNDE

Hon. Olumide Babatunde Osoba (born April 15, 1977) is a Nigerian politician, educator, and entrepreneur serving his third term in the House of Representatives for the Abeokuta North/Obafemi-Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency of Ogun State. He is the son of former Ogun State Governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, and a member of the APC.

He attended Corona Primary School and the International School, University of Lagos, earning a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Lagos and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Before politics, he worked at NLNG and pursued entrepreneurial ventures in marketing and strategic planning.

Osoba has served in the 7th, 9th, and 10th Assemblies. In the 10th Assembly, he chairs the House Committee on Justice, having previously chaired the Committee on Sports Development. His legislative focus includes rural electrification, healthcare, and youth capacity building, complemented by grassroots empowerment initiatives. He is married and upholds Egba traditional values.
