Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo (born October 25, 1968) is a Nigerian journalist-turned-politician representing the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the 10th National Assembly. He is a member of the APC and serves as Vice Chairman of the House Committee on the North Central Development Commission.
Born in Arogbo, Ondo State, he attended primary and secondary schools in the community before earning a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos.
Before politics, Ojogo built a successful journalism career with major media outlets, including The Guardian, Daily Independent, Nigerian Tribune, and Leadership, holding senior editorial positions.
He later served in various government roles, including Press Secretary to Governor Olusegun Agagu, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor, and Commissioner for Lands and Housing as well as Information and Orientation under Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. After an initial loss in 2019, he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2023.
In the National Assembly, he has focused on education, infrastructure, and regional development, facilitating school projects, providing student scholarships, sponsoring development-focused bills, and advocating for peaceful resolution of boundary disputes in oil-producing communities.
