Fatima S. Talba (also known as Fatsuma Talba), born June 30, 1959, is a Nigerian politician and nursing professional from Yobe State who represents the Nangere/Potiskum Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the APC.

She has a background in Nursing and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Her career spans decades in public service, where she rose to the rank of Director in the State Ministry of Health and served three times as a Permanent Secretary. She also held appointments as Commissioner, Special Adviser, and Director General within Yobe State ministries, and served as Chairperson of Nangere and Karasuwa Local Government Areas in the 1990s.

Talba first entered the National Assembly in 2003, serving from 2003 to 2007, and returned in 2023 for the 10th National Assembly. She currently chairs the Women in Parliament committee and is a strong advocate for gender inclusion, including the Gender Bill and reserved legislative seats for women.

In addition to her legislative work, she is known for grassroots development and empowerment initiatives, including supporting over 500 graduates through grants and training programs in partnership with SMEDAN.
