Imo State | House of representatives
Hon. Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu, popularly known as “Omeogo,” is a Nigerian politician and member of the 10th National Assembly, representing Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State under the APC.
He serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Special Duties, and is a member of the 6th ECOWAS Parliament.
Born on January 15, 1967, he holds traditional titles including High Chief, Omeogo, and Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu. He is also the General Overseer of Camphope Worldwide, a political mobilization group supporting Governor Hope Uzodimma, and previously served as Special Adviser on Mobilization to the Imo State Governor.
In the National Assembly, he is known for advocating infrastructure development, notably sponsoring a motion on the rehabilitation of the Orlu-Ihiala Road. Despite facing security challenges, including an attack on his residence in 2023, he remains active in APC leadership and regional political engagements as of 2026.
