Rt. Hon. Adebayo Olusegun Balogun (born June 11, 1968), is a veteran Nigerian politician serving his second term in the House of Representatives. He represents Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency, Lagos State, under the All Progressives Congress (APC), and chairs the House Committee on Electoral Matters.
Balogun is a leading advocate for electoral reform, sponsoring bills including one to repeal the Electoral Act 2022, and champions gender inclusion through the Special Seats for Women Bill. He also sponsored the Federal Institute for Diving Technology, Ibeju-Lekki (Establishment) Bill to promote technical education and coastal job creation.
In his constituency, he launched the “Renewed Hope Empowerment” initiative, providing lock-up shops and industrial equipment, and oversees projects in road construction, hospital renovations, and school upgrades.
Before joining the National Assembly, he served in Ibeju-Lekki local government as Executive Secretary, Chairman, and Secretary, and was a Commissioner at the Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commission (2012–2019). He holds a B.Sc. degree and received a Global Recognition Award in 2025 for community development contributions.
