Hon. (Dr.) Adeboye Paul Kalejaiye, popularly known as KAP, is a Nigerian politician and chartered accountant representing Ajeromi/Ifelodun Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He has served in the 10th National Assembly since 2023.
In the National Assembly, he is a member of key committees, including Public Accounts, Ports & Harbours, Niger-Delta, and Finance. He is known for advocating transparent port-revenue management, flood-control projects along the Apapa corridor, and stricter safety regulations to curb tanker explosions nationwide.
Dr. Kalejaiye has made significant contributions to constituency development through solar streetlight projects, school construction, transformer rehabilitation, and large-scale empowerment programmes. His initiatives include the 2024 Mega Empowerment programme and regular distribution of palliatives to support vulnerable residents.
Born on May 20, 1960, he holds a PhD, an M.Sc. in Public Administration, and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Before his election in 2023, he served as Chairman of Lagferry Service Limited and as Special Adviser on Rural Development in Lagos State. Widely regarded as a grassroots mobiliser, he rose through student and community leadership to become a respected voice in national politics.
