Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo is a Nigerian politician and first-term member of the House of Representatives, representing the Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency of Lagos State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 10th National Assembly. He was elected in 2023 and has since emerged as an active legislator with a strong focus on grassroots development and youth empowerment.

In the National Assembly, Hon. Olabinjo is noted for his legislative advocacy in education, infrastructure, and skills development. He sponsored the College of Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition, Ifako-Ijaiye (Establishment) Bill to address youth unemployment through vocational training. He has also sponsored motions calling for the urgent rehabilitation of the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway due to safety concerns and has supported educational development through projects such as the construction of a six-block classroom at Ijaiye Ojokoro Junior College.

At the constituency level, he runs the BAO Mega Empowerment Programme, which provides tools, sewing machines, and cash grants to residents to promote self-reliance. He has also supported the spiritual and social welfare of his constituents by sponsoring pilgrimage trips to Jerusalem and providing regular festive palliatives and financial assistance to wards and party structures.

Before joining the National Assembly, Hon. Olabinjo built a solid career in local and state governance. He served two terms as Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and held key advisory roles in Lagos State, including Special Adviser on Commerce, Industry, and Cooperatives and Special Adviser on Civic Engagement. Born on October 4, 1958, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labour Relations and has been recognized with a Community Development Committee (CDC) Excellence Award for his contributions to community service.
