Rt. Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson (b. 30 March 1972) is a three-term Nigerian lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Lagos State, under the APC. He chairs the House Committee on Defence in the 10th Assembly and is the architect of the DICON Act and the Nigerian Armed Forces Support Fund Bill.
He is known for extensive constituency development, including over 65 road projects, the 80-bed Mother and Child Hospital in Imota, the “Light Up Ikorodu” solar initiative, food relief through iCare FoodBank, and education grants for students.
Benson holds an LL.B from Lagos State University, was called to the Bar in 1995, and earned an MBA from Warwick Business School. Formerly a Non-Executive Director at Lagos State Operations Management Service and senior manager at ECCL, he is nicknamed “Mr. Constituency Projects” for his prolific grassroots impact.
