Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D, is the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives of Nigeria, representing Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna State under the APC. Elected Speaker on June 13, 2023, with 353 of 359 votes, he is known as the highest sponsor of bills in Nigerian parliamentary history, having sponsored 74 bills between 2019 and 2023, 21 of which became law.
He holds a PhD in Business Management from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and previously lectured at Kaduna State Polytechnic and Kaduna State University. A prince of the Zazzau Emirate, he bears the traditional title Iyan Zazzau and holds the national honor of GCON. His 2026 agenda emphasizes economic stability, security, and people-oriented legislation.
