Gombe State | Senator
Mohammed Danjuma Goje is a veteran Nigerian politician and Senator representing Gombe Central in the 10th National Assembly. Born on October 10, 1952, in Pindiga, Gombe State, he studied Political Science at Ahmadu Bello University and holds a Teachers’ Certificate.
He began his political career in the Bauchi State House of Assembly and later served as Minister of State for Power and Steel. From 2003 to 2011, he was Governor of Gombe State, where he oversaw major infrastructure projects and the establishment of Gombe State University.
Elected to the Senate in 2011, Goje later joined the APC and currently chairs the Committee on Inter-Parliamentary Affairs. He remains an influential political figure in the North-East, focusing on education, community development, and party leadership.
