The All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party in Nigeria, formed on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the 2015 elections.
President Bola Tinubu congratulates Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji on his emergence as the governorship candisdate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogun State following the party's primary election held on saturday.
President Tinubu also praises the Osun State APC for the unity and spirit of reconcilition that preceded and also permeated the primary election conducted through affirmation.
The President applauds all the aspirants who graciously stteped down in favour of Oyebamiji, demonstrating party loyalty and a collective commitment to the APC's ideals.
The President urges Asiwaju Oyebamiji to be magnanimous in victory by embracing all party leaders and former aspirants, ensuring inclusivity and cohesion as the party moves forward in the political process.
"The journey to reclaim Osun State for the progressisve fold in the 2026 governorship election has begun", the president states. "I urge all members and leaders of APC in the state to remain focused, united, and resolute. Victory is achievable, and together, we will succeed."
